The Lions Eye Bank of Nebraska (LEBN) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1960 by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Lions Clubs of Nebraska.  Since its inception, LEBN has worked to provide Nebraskans with both the opportunity to give the gift of sight through eye donation after death, and the chance to receive renewed sight through corneal transplant surgery.

Through its work in carefully screening donors and respectfully performing the recovery, evaluation, processing, and distribution of ocular tissue for transplant, it serves as the vital link between donors and recipients in providing the precious gift of sight.
